Bachelor of General Medicine

Bachelor of General Medicine is an undergraduate degree program that focuses on the study of medicine, health, and disease. It is also commonly known as Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in many countries.

The program typically takes 6 years to complete, Students in this program learn about the human body, diseases, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of illnesses. The program includes both theoretical knowledge and practical training in various fields of medicine, such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, microbiology, and clinical medicine.

After completing the program, graduates can become doctors and work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices. They can also pursue further education and training in specialized areas of medicine, such as surgery, pediatrics, cardiology, or neurology.

Practice-oriented study

Patient and practice-oriented, science-based and focused on innovative research: the Degree Program in Human Medicine offers an academic education at the highest level. Once the motivation-oriented admission procedure has been successfully completed, studies can begin – without waiting time. During the 6-year English-language study, students earn a total of 360 ECTS points.

Aim of the study

The main goal of the study program is to provide students with a holistic introduction to all fields, skills and abilities relevant to the profession. This includes the teaching of basic knowledge about bodily functions, the learning of human pathology – including emotional aspects as well as the acquisition of knowledge and skills needed for diagnostics, therapy, prevention and rehabilitation – and the development of communication skills.

Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor of General Medicine "MBBS" Admission in Progress University 

You can quickly get into an PUG, if

  • You are 17+ or below 25 on or before the date of the admission.

  • You have cleared your intermediate (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English subjects.

  • You have secured 55% marks in +2.

  • You belong to SC/ST/OBC category and have scored 45% in 10+2 with the same subjects mentioned above.

  • You have cleared NEET exam.

Intake for Bachelor of General Medicine  Course in PUG

You should begin the admission process for Bachelor of General Medicine in Armenia in July-August as the classes for MBBS in Progress University  start in September. It’s better to seek advice from an expert and reliable consultant when you are applying for a university.

Language of Instruction in Armenia / English

The medium of Bachelor of General Medicine course in the country is English. However, they are also taught the local language so that they face no problems when serving local patients during the internship.

  1. Application Form & Resume (C.V.)

  2. Attested marks sheets and pass certificates (Class X & XII).

  3. Attested and notarized copies of the academic documents.

  4. Passport size photographs (Twelve).

  5. Processing fees, including processing fees, counselling & other charges.

  6. Passport with three photocopies attested and notarized

  7. Medical certificate, including HIV report

Admission Procedure

Step-1: Fill online application of college and pay documentation charges. Send the duplicates of Grade 10, 11 and 12 mark sheets, 12th leaving certificate and a valid passport.

Step-2: Once you finish stage 1, you will get your confirmation letter within 4 working days of your application. Then send your passport and all above-mentioned documents to our office. The college will send the confirmation letter and student visa will be stamped on your passport. Before beginning this procedure, you need to pay the second portion of your handling charges. Then send your passport and your visa will be issued as quickly as time permits depending on Embassy working days and process.

Step-3: After you receive your student visa, a welcome letter issued by University and the Admission letter by the college you are now prepared to travel to your dream college to pursue your MBBS degree.

PRE MEDICAL PROGRAMS YEAR TWO

  • Phase 1 (Year 1 & 2) focuses on the fundamental knowledge of medical sciences with exposure to clinical medicine. Students will be taught history taking and physical examination techniques using both simulated patients and models, where they will learn to identify patients' problems and propose investigation plans for the patients.

ADVANCE MEDICAL PROGRAMS YEAR TWO

  • Phase 2 (Years 3 - 4) involves clinical rotations at designated hospitals from the Ministry of Health, where students will gain hands-on experience with patients. During this phase, students are rotated in all clinical disciplines required for undergraduate training including Internal Medicine, Surgery and Intensive Care among many others.
